Cases of Dengue
The national capital reports nearly 480 cases of dengue this season, with around 140 cases reported in the month of October alone. A total of 217 cases were logged in September, which makes it the highest count for this month in the last three years.
Delhi reported 1,072 cases and one death in the entire year in 2020, according to the South Delhi Municipal Corporation, the nodal agency for compiling data on vector-borne diseases in the city.
As of yet, no deaths have been reported due to the disease in the state this year.
