Named after its Founder, Sadhu T.L. Vaswani, the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune has been serving the humanity for over 6 decades. Working in the fields of education, medical relief, cultural, and spiritual advancement, the mission has been serving generations with compassion and kindness. It is a distinguished world over as a humanitarian service organization, respected for its integrity and commitment. The Mission seeks to extend a helping hand to the destitute, needy, and underprivileged irrespective of caste, creed, race or religion. In India, its service activities extend across the spheres of education, medical aid, village upliftment, relief, and rehabilitation, vocational training, spiritual meetings, and satsangs.
Dada J.P. Vaswani envisioned a dream project to build a hospital he says, “Where no sick person would be turned away for lack of funds; where even the lowliest of the lowly irrespective of the pecuniary standing would receive the medical treatment that his condition required; where a patient would not be reduced to a mere case number, but would be treated with love, respect, and sympathy.”
With this dream at heart the Sadhu Vaswani Mission’s Medical Complex was set up. Since its inception the charitable multi-discipline general hospital named Inlaks & Budhrani Hospital has been run by the Sadhu Vaswani Mission for the last 28 years. Inlaks & Budhrani was commissioned in the year 1989 and was inaugurated on 9th January’1989 at the Holy Hands of Mother Teresa (Noble Laureate). The mission has also established a dedicated Cancer Institute known as Morbai Naraindas Budhrani Cancer Institute and Kriplani & Kundnani Eye Institute for community Ophthalmology and Fabiani & Budhrani Heart Institute, a temple of Healing Hearts. It is a philanthropic non-profit institute, which has been rendering medical services to the under privileged and needy sections of society. Sadhu Vaswani Mission’s Medical Complex comprises of:

Artificial Limb Program: Helping People Take a Step
In 2007 to mark the beginning of Revered Dada’s 90th Birthday Celebrations were kicked off with a service program for providing artificial limbs to those for whom being on their feet is a distant dream. Artificial Limb Donation Camps were held in Pune and various districts of Maharashtra. These camps have been constant over the years and have become an annual gift. Till date Inlaks & Budhrani have covered over 35 districts of Maharashtra. A total number of 18576 patients have been provided with customized artificial limbs free under this program. The organization also set up a last year at Central Jail, Nashik; 17 prisoners were provided with artificial limbs.

“In everyone’s life, there are moments when one is filled with a sense of pride and utterly humbled, all at the same time!” Such was the experience of its highly proficient and accomplished Oncology team of the Morbai Naraindas Budhrani Cancer Institute that was felicitated on the evening of 7th December 2017 at the Hyatt Regency, Pune. The Times Group chose to recognize the outstanding and exemplary contribution made by the Morbai Naraindas Budhrani Cancer Institute to the lives of those suffering from ‘the fearsome, formidable Cancer’. Being honored & accorded as the ‘Times Health Icon’ in the field of Oncology was a fitting tribute and a well-deserved public homage to the beloved Gurudev, Rev.Dada J.P.Vaswani, whose vision is to enkindle the spirit of service and promote such ‘Temples of healing.’
The Organization has also received the charity award for the program “Charity Hospital at Poor Patient’s Door Step” arranged by the office of joint charity commissioner Pune region, on 3rd December 2017.
Inlaks & Budhrani Intensive Care Unit has been ranked 3rd in a “Critical Care Hospital Ranking Survey 2018,” an initiative of the Times Group.

The Hospital has made its mark as a teaching institute as well. Accredited with National Board of Examinations, New Delhi for DNB course in following specialties; General Medicine, General Surgery and Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Surgical Oncology, Radiotherapy, and Pathology.
