Covid Infection
A new real-world UK study found that the recovery from a previous COVID-19 infection followed by being double vaccinated increases a person’s protection against the COVID-19 virus to as much as 94 percent.
The ZOE COVID Study, which has been studying real-world data in the UK on the COVID-19 virus since last year, revealed that two doses of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine provided 71 percent protection against the virus up to six months after getting vaccinated.
That percentage was increased to up to 90 percent among those who previously were tested positive for COVID-19.
