A rise in Covid-19 cases across the US caused by the extremely contagious delta variant resulted in Center for Disease Control and Prevention updating its guidance for wearing masks.
On Tuesday, CDC stated through telebriefing that it is highly recommended for fully vaccinated people to wear masks. This statement is different from what they said previously in July.The World Health Organization (WHO) continues to recommend wearing masks to those, who are fully vaccinated to slow down the spread of delta variant. Center for Disease Control and WHO suggests people to continue wearing masks.
