Covid cases might increase, warns LA County CDC

Los Angeles County health officials ask unvaccinated residents to get vaccinated as there might be a rise in COVID-19 cases.

Unvaccinated residents are more likely to fall ill and suffer from COVID-19 if they get infected.Los Angeles has seen a rise in COVID-19 cases as the number of people infected rises to 632. One hundred fifty-six of the total affected people are under intensive care and raises concerns about cases in the county. The number of cases is decreasing, but since the virus is changing and can prove to be fatal to those who are not vaccinated, the center recommends vaccination for all.

According to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, another ten deaths due to COVID-19 were reported in the county. The number of deaths is low but the rise in cases can lead to more, the Centre of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns the residents of Los Angeles.
