Dengue Cases
21 new cases of dengue were reported over the past week in the district of Gurugram. This took the total tally of the cases to 53 in the district. Almost 50% of the total cases were reported from Wazirabad.
The health department showed concerns saying the cases might increase during the festive season. Officials also said that the numbers may also spike due to an inflow of the migratory population over the next few weeks and social interactions.
Officials of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) ensured that they are following all the directions issued by the health department for conducting anti-larval activities.
