The Food and Drug Administration’s vaccine head said that the agency will rapidly evaluate coronavirus vaccinations for younger children as parents of younger children are worried for their wards, keeping in mind the reopening of schools and the delta variant spreading rapidly among kids.
The FDA chief said that the agency will leave no stones unturned to get the needed data for evaluating COVID-19 vaccinations for children.
BioNTech the German partner of Pfizer said in an interview with Der Spiegel that it was on track in the coming days to seek the permission of the company’s vaccination for children aged between 5-11 years.
