GOQii
Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based gaming software and venture capital firm, has contributed an extra $10 million to Indian fitness technology company GOQii in an expanded Series C equity fundraising round.

According to a news release, this time’s funding will help the company grow its health metaverse.

GOQii is a health tech startup that offers a wearable activity tracker and a smartphone app. It was founded in 2014. It also runs a health marketplace and offers health counseling and insurance.

The future GOQii metaverse will add to the various ways that Indians may actively participate in controlling their health, which is one of the key goals of the National Digital Health Mission, which was just established. The NDHM, which will lay the groundwork for India’s digital health infrastructure, will help the Indian government advance the digitalization of its health system.

“As the company tries to address the complex concerns of healthcare accessibility and affordability, GOQii’s Metaverse is devoted to promoting innovation within the healthcare industry,” the company added.
