Osteoporosis is becoming the next disease burden for middle aged population. It is estimated that more than 200 million people are suffering from it. As per research, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men have the brittle-bone disease.

But what if the most loved food item – Cheese – is the remedy to this?

Recent studies have proven that a certain type of Cheese is helping in strengthening bones. The Jarlsberg Cheese is suggested to be taken in daily portion to prevent bone thinning and keep osteoporosis at bay. The cheese type comes from Norway and is made from cow’s milk. The research further elaborates that apart from Vitamin D and calcium, other vitamins are also essential to bone health. The cheese consists of vitamin K2 which has been found to improve bone health.

The research supports the addition of Jarlsberg cheese in one’s regular balanced diet to complete the dietary need of essential vitamins and lead a healthier living.
