Key Background :
May 15, 2025: SBI Card, India’s largest standalone credit card issuer, joined forces with Apollo HealthCo to launch the Apollo SBI Card SELECT. The co-brand credit card was created to merge daily expenditure expenses with end-to-end health and wellness benefits, responding to growing consumer interest in overall well-being.
Apollo SBI Card SELECT has a value-back rewards program, including 10% reward points and maximum 15% health credits that can be redeemed at Apollo’s network of healthcare providers such as Apollo 24|7 and Apollo Pharmacy. The health credits may be redeemed on a wide network of health services and products, motivating the users to take charge of their well-being from selected healthcare providers.
Other advantages of the card are a ₹1,500 e-gift voucher on enrollment, membership of the Apollo Circle program that offers priority healthcare privileges and cost savings, and free one-year membership to FITPASS PRO that allows access to dozens of clubs and wellness programs throughout India. This strategy also resonates with present consumer attitudes that stress fitness and preventive care.
Also, the card provides lifestyle and travel privileges like waiver of annual fee if spends ₹3 lakh within one year, two-year Priority Pass membership for international airport lounge privileges, and four free domestic airport lounge accesses per year. Some others are more rewards on dining, entertainment, and travel spends, one free health check-up when spends requirement is met, and one Noise smartwatch at no cost for spends above ₹6 lakh per year.
Both RuPay and Mastercard versions are now being launched by the Apollo SBI Card SELECT for an annual membership and renewal fee of ₹1,499 including tax. Such a partnership is a clear move towards accepting financial services with health and wellness, keeping up with changing lifestyle requirements of Indian consumers.
