Being an experienced leader, share your opinion on how the adoption of modern technologies like AI and ML impacts the healthcare sector. How has your company incorporated such technologies into its daily operations?

There is no shortage of incredible, game-changing technology available today. It’s exciting to see how far we have come with AI and ML, yet, in my opinion, they are still highly underleveraged at this time. Early adopters are reaping the benefits of automation while improving the customer experience. Shorr is currently undertaking a digital transformation program to elevate our services, solutions, and customer experience.  We offer a proprietary, customizable Vendor Managed Inventory app that delivers on our commitment to innovation and collaboration by ensuring our customers have the right packaging products, in the right quantity, at the right time. Our dedicated packaging automation group is the ideal partner for designing, supplying, and integrating automated solutions to increase productivity, efficiency, and output. Internally, we are implementing Shorr’s very own warehouse management system to ensure our facilities are streamlined. Additionally, Shorr is enhancing our customer experience through upgrading our internal CRM systems.

What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the healthcare space?

Create value through knowledge and your relationships. The healthcare industry is an exciting and dynamic segment.
