The CEO and Founder of RaskRask, Albert Iverson, gave true justice to this quote. When faced with inconvenience, he pressed forward to grant the healthcare niche with a hopeful new design in the name of RaskRask, which made life easier for clients and professionals. In a conversation with Insights Care, Albert talks about how the organization provides convenience for everyone to take care of their health and well-being.

Albert, what was the inspiration behind venturing into the health and wellness niche.

Back in 2015, I needed a professional to help me with an injury. I found it difficult to find someone I could trust among a lot of smaller providers. When I finally found someone who could help me, I had to wait several days before I could get an appointment. The process was difficult and inconvenient, and I felt that everything was happening on the system’s premises even though I was the one who needed help. This experience opened my eyes to the need for smarter and more convenient access to well-being.

I began talking to different professionals in the field of health and wellness, and I found out that they are very passionate about helping other people but often struggle with administrative tasks such as accounting, insurance, communication, marketing, and maintaining a website.

All this gave me the idea for RaskRask – a new concept designed to make life easier for both clients and professionals.

Please give us a brief overview of your journey as the CEO and Founder of RaskRask.

Over the past five years, we have gone from a small start-up in Aarhus to a national brand with more than 250 healthcare professionals all over the country.

We work hard every day to make it more convenient for everyone to take care of their health and well-being. Therefore, we have developed an online platform where you can order a massage therapist, personal trainer, or yoga teacher to come to your home whenever it suits you – saving traveling and waiting time.

We do all the development and marketing of the platform and partner up with independent healthcare professionals. With no clinics, gyms, or studios involved, the process is simplified for the therapists and trainers as well as they are provided with an adaptable schedule permitting them to attend work fully motivated on a daily basis and with an unwavering focus on the need of the customer, while we at RaskRask handle all the administrative work.

This allows the customer to relax and enjoy the therapy or training in well-known and comfortable surroundings at home and additionally saves the customer the trouble of having to make the trip to the clinic or the gym.

Albert, can you elaborate upon the core values on which RaskRask is built and what is its mission?

We believe that people thrive on being trusted, on freedom, and on being able to make a difference. We believe that people should be able to say what they think when it’s in the best interest of RaskRask – even if it’s uncomfortable. So, we foster freedom, creativity, innovation, and empowerment wherever we can.

We are willing to try new innovative approaches, even if they might not work out at first. We believe that freedom and rapid recovery are better than trying to prevent error. The most important thing is that we learn from our mistakes and do better next time.

Ultimately, we want to make it easy and straightforward for everyone to get access to more wellness in our everyday lives.

Tell us more about the services provided by RaskRask and the immersive benefits that make it stand out from the fierce competition.

We offer an extensive selection of on-demand therapy and training, including various types of massage, personal trainers, and yoga instructors. In short, the concept enables the customer to book a therapist, a trainer, or an instructor through our online booking system, who will then arrive directly at the home of the customer at convenience to provide the necessary treatment or training.

This allows the customer to relax and enjoy the therapy or training in well-known and comfortable surroundings at home and additionally saves the customer the trouble of having to make the trip to the clinic or the gym.

We believe that a massage is more than wellness – it is about loosening those tensions with a deep tissue massage, calming your muscles with a sports massage, or making a memory with a couples massage.

We want to remove all the difficulties that hinder people from getting the treatment they need. Our platform serves as the connection point for customers and therapists to meet. With our mindset and determination, we have combined two everyday issues into a win-win solution for both customers and therapists. We handle all the administrative work so that our therapists can focus on the well-being of our clients – which is what they do best.

What is your opinion on healthcare providers’ aligning their offerings with newer technological developments, especially when it comes to catering to the dynamic needs of the healthcare space?

I believe innovation is the key to a better future. Through technological developments, we are able to create better and smarter solutions that benefit everybody.

RaskRask is a digital business built on a digital business model, and our technical development is key to growing the business. The more customers and partners we have using the technical solutions, the more important it is that we have stable and well-functioning systems. The systems are a key factor in maintaining and acquiring happy and satisfied customers and partners.

Albert, being an experienced leader, what were the initial challenges that you encountered following the biggest challenges on the way ahead, and what were the ways you opted to overcome these.

As we have a two-sided platform, it’s always been crucial that our professionals are satisfied with the concept and appreciate the value we provide for them to stay on the platform. Therefore, we have been working specifically on improving their experience since the beginning. It is challenging to make everyone happy and establish loyalty as the concept and amount of professionals grow. Still, we listen to feedback and work hard every day to accomplish this.

Our biggest challenge currently is to find the right business partners and potential investors who share our values as we want to scale up internationally in the near future. This will help us ensure a high quality of professionals and customer experience, which is essential for the brand.

As an established industry leader, what would be your advice to the budding entrepreneurs and enthusiasts aspiring to venture into the health and wellness niche?

My advice to new entrepreneurs is to always stay true to your vision. Success happens over time with commitment and dedication through the ups and downs. No one succeeds in business as a loner, and it is always a team effort. Therefore, you should build a strong team around you and hire for character and values. You can always train someone’s skills. Finding someone who shares the same values is the difficult part.

It’s always a challenge to stay relevant in a competitive market. That’s why it’s better to find an angle other people aren’t using and build your business from there. You have a greater chance of success if you develop a new way of doing things in the wellness niche, improving every part of your business instead of competing with more prominent companies.

Where do you see yourself in the future, and how do you envision scaling your successful journey in the wellness sector eventually?

In the future, we are hopefully an international concept able to help a lot of people all over the world. We constantly want to do better and develop our concept and platform. We always take feedback and remarks from customers and therapists into account. Through continuous dedication and development, we believe that we can establish a platform with a major opportunity to affect how health services are supplied in the future.
