Arogya Setu
To expand the user base in the flagship mission Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), The National Health Authority (NHA) announced the integration with Arogya Setu app, with existing 21.4 crore users.
Users can generate a 14-digit unique Ayushman Bharat Health Account ID from Arogya Setu app. This number can be linked to new or existing medical records, lab reports, hospital records. It will help to share the data about the health status of a person with medical professionals and health service providers.
“As vaccination helps us fight this pandemic, it was essential to repurpose this widely used digital public good. The creation of ABHA is the start, we would soon roll out the functionality to view your digital health records,” said National Health Authority Chief Executive, R S Sharma.
