Elysium Healthcare, U.K.’s biggest Mental Health Care System, with its 72 sites operating as rehabilitation centers as well as mental health care for children, has been acquired for US$1 billion (A$1.4 billion) by Australian care chain operator Ramsay Health Care Ltd.
The deal will allow Ramsay to enter the already growing mental health care market of the U.K., currently pegged at £15 billion (US$19.87 billion). This is the time where due to the ongoing pandemic, more and more people are in dire need of mental health care support system for their mental health, neurological issues, stressed lifestyle, and learning difficulties problems.
