An announcement was made on Monday by Shionogi & Co. Ltd. of Japan, that they will start clinical trials phase III of a new Covid-19 vaccine in Vietnam. This announcement came after the pharmaceutical company’s earlier trials in Japan, which it wants to follow up with multiple global trials before launching its vaccine for use.
The 141 years old global discovery-based Japanese company, Shionogi & Company, Ltd. Has its headquarters in Japan’s Osaka city. It is a major medicine producer for antibiotics, hyperlipidemia, and cancer treatments. It is known as a manufacturer of Crestor, a cholesterol drug.
