Open Innovation Platform
Open Innovation Platform or OIP has been launched for APAC, by Medtronic, a medical device maker. Across the healthcare ecosystem, it will advance strategic partnerships with various innovators. Through the collaboration, it will further develop the healthcare systems by building capability, alliances, and business groups networking in the digital health and medical technology sector.
With the help of this platform, Medtronic will explore and expand collaborative prospects. It will aid it in addressing patient needs by leveraging tech automation and AI. Starting from FY2022, over a period of five years, the leader in global healthcare technology will be investing up to US$50 million in the sector, to support talent and technology’s capability expansion.
