Compelled by the Covid-19 pandemic in India, both consumers and providers have rushed to Telehealth, an online alternative the healthcare access and delivery. The industry propelled by increasing demand saw enhanced popularity of and reliability on e-pharmacies, teleconsultations, and remote prescriptions and monitoring.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), NITI Aayog and the and the Board of Governors (BoG) Medical Council of India (MCI) have already released its policy regarding guidelines of regulatory practices, as of March 2020.

With an effective and quality healthcare delivery promise, the industry is projected to grow up to $10.6 billion by 2025, as per a recent e-health market scenario study.
