Getting tough about their health norms for employees, Alphabet Inc. told all its employees that there will be no job for those who will not take the Covid-19 vaccine. And employees not following company guidelines and policies will be fired along with a loss of pay.
A circulated memo by the company leadership shows the deadline as December 3, 2020, for employees to declare their vaccination status along with supporting documents to be uploaded for any exemption. After that company will contact those unvaccinated employees who had not uploaded their status or those whose exemption has been unapproved.
The employees who have not complied with the policy by January 18, 2022, will be put on paid administrative leave for 30 days, followed by six months’ unpaid personal leave ending with their employment with the company after that.
