Covid-19
A new needle-free vaccine for Covid-19 has been trialed out at the University of Southhampton, revealed a statement from the University’s news report on Tuesday, 14th Dec. The shot uses a jet of surrounding air and pushes the vaccine into the skin. This technique could be used as a booster shot and could also be an alternative for those with the fear of needles.
If the trial proves to be successful, then the DIOSvax technology from the University of Cambridge, on which the new jab method is based, can be leveraged to manufacture coronavirus vaccines in powder form and can be boost in scaling up global vaccine stock.
