The death of Queen Elizabeth II, the second longest ruling monarch, has grieved the world. She died at the age of 96 ending her 70-year-long reign. According to the reports the Queen was said to be experiencing discomforts from October last year, which included sprained back, contraction of COVID -19, discomfort in standing, and other unspecified illnesses, post which she significantly had reduced her work.

As per the Australian Doctor, the Queen Elizabeth II also showed symptoms of the peripheral vascular disorder that causes the blood vessels of the heart and brain to narrow, block, or spasm. She had been under medical supervision due to concerns regarding her health and was asked to rest according to her doctors. Given the age of the Queen Elizabeth II, her recovery is said to have been an issue of concern. However, the cause of her death has not been disclosed by the authorities.

Statements issued by Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen died peacefully in her sleep at her home at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on the afternoon of September 8th.
