Dengue Cases
211 cases of dengue were recorded in Delhi as of Saturday according to a report released by the municipal corporations crossing the 200-mark in the national capital. The number of cases is higher than last year during the same period when the cases were 172 in number, while doctors warned of a co-infection of dengue and COVID-19.
11 states of the country including the capital of the nation have also reported some cases of Serotype-2 dengue, which is linked to a higher risk of severe disease and might result in internal bleeding resulting in a sharp drop in blood pressure.
