Covid-19 booster Vaccine

According to some studies, the COVID-19 vaccine immunity may last only six months, or a little more, recommending the need for booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine, especially for the ones with weaker immune systems.

Meanwhile, a group of international scientists has argued that it is ‘not appropriate’ to administer booster shots at this stage of the pandemic. Even though the argument continues, Italy has already started administering booster vaccine doses to its elderly and immune-compromised people. Japan following the steps of Italy would be starting the booster shot administration for the elderly by early next year.
