Earlier called Dresden’s slaughterhouse, Germany now can be called farmland of Cannabis, as rows and rows of the plant could be seen in Germany. In a first large scale and legal Cannabis harvest on German Soil, the crop planted in November 2021, will be harvested this January 2022.
Demecan Company got the permission for the plantation and harvest of the plant, whose leaves will then be converted into cannabis flour and from them legal medicinal marijuana products will be produced. The berlin-based drug maker is one of the three such companies, who won the tender awarded by cannabis agency of Germany. The other two companies are yet to begin production, but Demecan will start it from this month.
