Trust Barometer
In a global survey published by Statista that was conducted over 28 countries to understand the public’s trust(Trust Barometer) in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, India stood much ahead of other countries.
The survey investigated the factors such as media literacy, misinformation, and eagerness to take vaccines where India is in the lead.
Across the 28 countries, 66 percent of respondents have trust in the healthcare sector. India has emerged the number with a record high at 85 percent trust in healthcare. The data has been driven by 33,000 respondents across the 28 countries, with over 1,150 respondents in each country.
The pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors have seen major triumph and development during the pandemic period over the globe.
