Nike has planned to close its corporate offices this week to gives its employees a week-long paid break. This decision has been taken considering the adverse effect that the pandemic has had on the mental health of its employees. The mental health break ends before employees return to the office in September.

The COVID-19 pandemic made several people rethink their careers nationwide. US workers have been navigating unclear return-to-office plans. Some major companies, including Apple and BlackRock, have stalled their plans to bring employees back to work amid the new Delta variant surge of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US.
